Terms of Use for AI Phone Clean: FreeUp Storage

These terms govern your use of AI Phone Clean: FreeUp Storage ("the app"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
What the app does
The app scans your device to help you find and remove junk files, duplicate photos, large or old files, and duplicate contacts, and it lets you store selected photos and videos in an encrypted, PIN-protected Vault. All of this happens locally on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Your responsibility
Deleting files, merging contacts, and moving items into or out of the Vault are actions you take deliberately in the app. We are not responsible for files, contacts, or Vault contents lost as a result of actions you take, actions you delegate to the app's automated suggestions, or events outside our control such as a lost or damaged device, a factory reset, or an uninstall. Please keep your own backups of anything important.
Secure Vault
The Vault is protected by a PIN you set. You are responsible for remembering it. We do not store a copy of your PIN or Vault contents, and cannot recover either if lost. Uninstalling the app or losing the device without a separate backup permanently deletes anything stored in the Vault.
In-app purchases
The app offers an optional Premium upgrade, purchased and processed through Google Play Billing. Pricing, billing, and refunds are subject to Google Play's own terms and policies. We do not process payments ourselves and cannot issue refunds directly; refund requests should go through Google Play.
Advertising
Some versions of the app show ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are subject to Google's own terms, and we do not control their content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the app, or to use the app in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will correctly identify every duplicate, junk file, or large file on your device.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, files, or Vault contents.
Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the app or these terms from time to time. If these terms change, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change too. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or restrict the app at our discretion, without liability to you.
